Cat Adoption

All Animal Aid cats are current on all shots, are FLV/FIV tested and treated for parasites as needed.  All cats are spayed or neutered if of age.  If not, a spay/neuter certificate is provided and a contract signed by the adoptive parent agreeing to a date by which time the cat will be altered.  Adoption fee for cats is $75.00

Animal Aid volunteers perform a vet check on potential adopters to ensure any current or previously owned animals were vetted in a responsible manner.  Volunteers also perform a home visit to ensure our cats and your home are a perfect fit.  Our goal is to place each and everyone one of our cats into a forever, loving home.

This is Spanky. He is an adorable, 1 yr. old tuxedo cat. He was found wandering St. Joe as a stray. He'll love you to pieces and will always find a way to make you laugh. He is not particularly fond of dogs though, so a home where he can be your number one companion will work best for him.

Shadow is a survivor of a tragic house fire.  Although she sustained serious burns and mild smoke inhalation, she has made a full recovery.  She loves being around children and lots of activity.  She is probably around 2 years old.

This is Charlie, a wonderful 2 yr old male, who has a unique way of viewing the world. Adopt this handsome boy and you'll soon find yourself seeing the world with more joy and energy.

Peter is a pretty purr -fect cat.As a 3 yr old he is more than ready to find his forever home. Don't you just want to run your hand through his handsome striped fur?

What a sweetheart this little guy is. Look how he loves his little bear. In fact, his name is "Nitrobear". He is a 1 yr old who was found stuck in a car engine. He gets along with adults, children and other pets. Don't you think it's time he had a special home to call his own?

Dear, sweet Abby wants a home very much. She's a 5yr old female with her front paws declawed. She'll be a wonderful inside cat always seeking seek out a comfortable lap to curl up in.

What fun you'll have playing with this guy. Spot, a 2 yr old male is full of life. He takes complete advantage of his day, living each moment to it's fullest. He always manages to include some special loving for his owner.

This is Sweetie and that is exactly what she is. She's a 3 yr old female who spends her day figuring out how to be sweet in many, many ways. Please make her your special sweetheart.

Snickers is his name and loving you is his game. He is a beautiful 2 or 3 yr. old tabby. His personality is calm and charming. He'll be happiest in a home where he will be your only pet. That way, you can take advantage of all the love he's waiting to give his new owner.

Buddy is a big magnificent boy. Doesn't he look unique with his one tipped ear? He's a wonderful 2yr old tabby. Having a guy like this for a pet would be an extremely affectionate experience

Say hello to Bethany and Byron, 1yr old siblings. As you can see, they love each other dearly, so of course they are hoping to be adopted together. Many cultures, including England and Australia consider black cats to be good luck. Having these 2 precious cats as your pets will bring you double the luck.

This 2 1/2 yr old male matches his name in both size and personality. That name is Zeus and this cat is big, strong and noble. But he looks a bit sad  because he's been hoping for a home that will give him "big" loving, just like he deserves.

Sunny is a 2 yr old female who was adopted when she was a small kitten but she has now been returned because she's apparently "too fat". Poor sweetheart, she needs a new home now. Hopefully someone who will love her unconditionally the rest of her life and who will control her diet for her.
Have you ever seen such a unique color combination on a cat before. This beautiful kitten is orange tiger stripe on one side of her face and gray tiger stripe on the other. She's exquisite! She was found at the end of March when she was about 5 wks old. She had terrible eye infections that resulted in her loosing her left eye, however that hasn't slowed her down!  She runs, jumps and loves life. Her name is Paprika.
This little guy is Flannigan.  He was hit by a car and suffered some severe road rash on his little head, along with a fractured leg that resulted in some nerve damage.  He's 14 weeks old and gets around just fine!   Check out the big feet!!  This little guy has an extra toe on each foot!!  I'd say he's one lucky little guy!
This is Oreo, look at his bright, friendly eyes. Oreo was found as a badly, injured stray. He was in horrible shape with infected puncture wounds around his neck and on his belly. But he is fully recovered now and ready to find an owner he can love. Boy, does he love, he rolls all over the place when being petted and purrs up a storm. He's about 5yrs old and neutered.

Ashley is a wonderful cat. She loves everyone and everything. She makes friends with other cats and dogs as well. Of course her number one friend will be her new owner. She's about 2 years and was caught in a live trap.

What a sweet looking guy! Fez is a neutered, 6 yr old male. He has been declawed and is a big 19 lbs. He's also big on cuddling and purring, you should hear his purr box. He'd love to curl up in your lap and watch TV with you.
